Away for So Long
I know it's been a little minute since I've put up a proper post, but things have been a bit crazy over the past couple of months. I finally got my car back from the body shop yesterday and returned my pimpmobile with a good soundsystem to pick up a little marshmallow car that was shiny and clean and had been treated to some Armorall spray on the tires. It was probably cleaner than when I'd bought it. I couldn't believe it. So that's big news.
NY on Friday. I hope to meet up with some people, but I will be sans vehicle, so we'll see what can be coordinated between family and papers (writing) and papers (grading).
I'm in the midst of a rewrite on one of my comps exams. It's an awful experience -- and this was part of the really shitty day when I got rear-ended...I found out that I didn't pass my exam and that I had the option of rewrite or redo entirely. Yick. So after October ate me alive in so many ways, in November, I finally returned to this mess. Now I'm steeped in it and it sucks. I hope to finish it up before heading up north.
So yuck and double yuck. This is why I've had few posts lately. When I'm happy, I don't have much to say about it, and when I'm sad I have too much to say about it. Apologies all around.
And I spoke to Flynn, post his b-day. He seems well.
